Militants not getting Support from public in North Kashmir : DGP | KNO

DGP Vaid on Wednesday said that situation in Kashmir is calm and arrest of Hurriyat leaders won’t have an impact on it. He was speaking in a function at district police lines Baramulla .

DGP SP Vaid also told media reporters that we don’t have actual figures about the presence of militants in Valley as no one have counted yet but in north Kashmir foreign militants are in large numbers.

While answering the question about the public support for militants, DGP Vaid said that things have changed now people are not supporting them as everyone wants to live a peaceful life, he said especially in north Kashmir militants are not getting support from public.

Regarding the arrests of Hurriyat leaders he said that people should wait and watch to know the reality who keeps Kashmir burning.
